"could" destabilize the region????"

BBWHAHAHAHA! HAS destabilized the region.

The United States under OPIE has WRECKED the region.

We overthrew a 40 year ally in Egypt and put in the radical Muslim Brotherhood who were sounded REJECTED by the people of Egypt a year later.

We toppled a long term regime in Libya that was at least stable although not a particularly good Allie.

Opie draw a red line in the sand that Syria laughed at and ignored, further weakening US position in the Mid East.

Name ONE thing positive about the Obama foreign policy?________________??

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) said Sunday that the Sunni militants taking over Iraq have quickly gained power because the United States has armed their group in Syria.

“I think we have to understand first how we got here,” he said on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “We have been arming [the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria] ISIS in Syria.”

ISIS, an al Qaeda offshoot, has been collaborating with the Syrian rebels whom the Obama administration has been arming in their efforts to overthrow Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, Paul explained.

The administration has reportedly assisted the moderate opposition in Syria, but details about the dissemination of those resources are unclear.

Off Topic but IMPORTANT to the OV:

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court on Monday placed limits on the sole Obama administration program already in place to deal with power plant and factory emissions of gases blamed for global warming.

The justices said that the Environmental Protection Agency lacks authority in some cases to force companies to evaluate ways to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. This rule applies when a company needs a permit to expand facilities or build new ones that would increase overall pollution. Carbon dioxide is the chief gas linked to global warming.

BWAHAHAHAAHAH! The SCOTUS is starting to slap down the EMPEROR in CHIEF executive orders bullcrap!

And while we are at it:

"The South Dakota Republican Party state convention passed a resolution calling for the impeachment of President Barack Obama Saturday.

The resolution says Obama has "violated his oath of office in numerous ways." It specifically cites the release of five Taliban combatants in a trade for captive U.S. soldier Bowe Bergdahl, Obama's statement that people could keep insurance companies, and recent EPA regulations on power plants."

The US invaded Iraq. We could have put in a provisional government of our own at that time. An occupation was in our beat interests.

Hussein understood it took a strong arm to keep control of Iraq. The current government is weak and vulnerable. They will fold.

The weapons being used are Russian supplied. Russia is most likely backing the takeover as they will gain as will Iran and Syria.

The US can either (1.) let Iraq go (2.) launch another-corrective- invasion.

It will not be long before Bagdad falls. ISIS wants it all.

WASHINGTON – The well-organized army of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS, claims it has access to nuclear weapons and a will to use them to “liberate” Palestine from Israel as part of its “Islamic Spring,” according to a WND source in the region.

Franklin Lamb, an international lawyer based in Beirut and Damascus, said the move is part of the ISIS aim of creating a caliphate under strict Islamic law, stretching from the Mediterranean Sea to Iraq.

Get ready to NUCLEAR RUUUUUUUUMBLE!

Nice going , Opie!

Cal,

Obama declared Iraq stable and self reliant in 2011!

“Indeed, everything that American troops have done in Iraq--all the fighting and all the dying, the bleeding and the building, and the training and the partnering--all of it has led to this moment of success. Now, Iraq is not a perfect place. It has many challenges ahead. But we’re leaving behind a sovereign, stable and self-reliant Iraq, with a representative government that was elected by its people." (Dec. 14, 2011 speech at Ft Bragg).

So any events that happened since are obviously under Obama's watch. What happened?

Very true wraith. They make no bones about their goals. Israel is the # 1 infidel target now. The US can either(A.) intervene now or(B.) deal with WWIII soon. ISIS will have vast military resources with the Iraq oil cash.

There is little we can do here.

The nation of Iraq is history. It will disintegrate into 3 ethnic/religious regions. Allow the Gulf States/Saudi Arabia & Iran to duke it out.

This may be the best course in the long run, if you don't mind high gas prices temporarily.

calplant you IDIOT, we built a HUGE military at Baghram as part of the war effort.

The BUSH plan was to keep about 8000 troops there for the foreseeable future as a DETERRENT to just this thing, to prevent a VACUUM when we left.

We did EXACTLY the same thing in JAPAN, in GERMANY, in SOUTH KOREA, and other countries we fought wars in.

Does it work in Korea? H*ell Yes, do you think for a MINUTE that SoKor would be FREE if NOT for the US base there???

You liberals are dumber than ***ing dirt. What did you EXPECT would happen in a hostile climate like the mideast.
