He was born April 23, 1925, in Steubenville, Ohio, the son of the late George M. and Hazel Mushrush Grimm.
He was also preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Virginia Wright Grimm; an infant daughter, Susan; two brothers, Paul and George Grimm; and one sister, Yvonne Grimm Anderson.
Surviving are one son, James L. (Teresa) Grimm of Blacklick, Ohio; one daughter, Tyra (Fred) Rogers of Bloomingdale, Ohio; five grandchildren, Chris (Megan) Grimm of Columbus, Ohio, Stephanie Grimm of Amesville, Ohio, Jessica Grimm Young of Columbus, Trisha Rogers Milosevich (Mark) and Michael Rogers both of Columbus; four great-grandchildren, Crystal and Michael Moone, and Amber and Caylee Young; and several nieces and nephews.
Cyril was a member of Holy Name Cathedral; Knights of Columbus No. 472; D.A.V.; and the American Legion.
He served his Country in the Army during WWII in Belgium, Holland, and France; and was retired from A.E.P., where he was an electrician.
Calling hours are Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville.
A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Wednesday, at Holy Name Cathedral, with Fr. William Cross as celebrant.
Entombment in Mt. Calvary Coronation Mausoleum.
There will be a Vigil service Tuesday at 3:45 p.m.
