He was born November 20, 1942 in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late George Frank “Sparky” and Dorothy (Chin) Zervos.
Frank was Greek Orthodox by faith; and a retired coalminer from Consolidated Coal Shoemaker Mine in Benwood.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Dorothy Zervos Carr in 2002.
Surviving are his companion, Paula Whorton of McMechen; one brother, Virgil Wayne “DoDo” (Sherry) Zervos of Moundsville; one half brother, Sparky Zervos; four daughters, Francine Zervos and Tammy White, both of Moundsville, and Jodi Moore and AmyJo Scyoc both of McMechen, W.Va.; four sons, Franky Vega, Inky Vega and Toby Vega all of Moundsville, and Ricky Vega of North Carolina;18 grandchildren; several great-grand children; one uncle, John Zervos (Sophie) of Glen Dale, W.Va.; one aunt, Helen Leon of New Jersey; one niece; one nephew; and special friend, Doug Shimp of Moundsville.
Arrangements at Anderson Funeral Home, 1109 Second Street, Moundsville, on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., where services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Paul K, Smith officiating.
Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery, Moundsville.
