He was born February 1, 1971 in Wheeling, the son of Gabe and Mavis Nell Langford Collins of Wheeling.
William was an employee for Barns and Noble Book Store, in Los Angeles, where he sold CD’s and Books. He was a Protestant by faith.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Oda and Eva Collins, and Stanley and Florene Langford; and a brother, Jimmy Collins.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Debra Sparks, of Wheeling; a brother, Kenny Collins of Wheeling; several aunts, uncles, and cousins including Theresa Sparks, Ryan Sparks and James Collins all of Wheeling; and a special friend, Rex Parker.
Friends will be received from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m., Thursday, October 18, 2007, at the Kepner Funeral Home, Burke Chapel, 2101 Warwood Ave., Wheeling, where services will be held Friday, October 19, 2007, at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Dennis Arnold officiating.
Interment in Short Creek Cemetery, Short Creek, WV.
