He was born June 7, 1950, in Glen Dale, W.Va.
Rick was an employee of Consol Energy, McElroy Mine, Moundsville; and a member of the Glen Dale United Methodist Church.
He loved to garden and farm with his father and friends, Tam and Pam; and he enjoyed woodworking and spending time at his cabin in the mountains. Rick was also an avid WV Mountaineer Football and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Haythorn Lipinski.
Surviving are a son, Eric R. Lipinski and his wife, Lorie, of Glen Dale; three daughters, Julie A. Halliday of Jacksonville, Fla., Ashley R. Boch and her husband, Eric, of Jacksonville, Fla., and Brooke N. Lipinski at home; his father, Edmond Lipinski of Glen Dale; a brother, Stanley W. Lipinski and his wife, Jennifer, of Glen Dale; a sister, Deborah Glover and her husband, Barry, of Franklin, W.Va.; two grandchildren, Carley N. Lipinski and Koy S.R. Lipinski; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Sunday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave., Moundsville, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2007.
Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville.
