She was born October 18, 1921, in Farmersville, New York, daughter of the late Merton and Genevieve Whitcomb Greene.
Mrs. Fish was a member of the First Baptist Church, Wheeling; and she was a member of the Elm Grove Homemakers and the Elm Grove Eagles Aerie 1891 Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma Schneider and Vera Reynolds.
Surviving are four sons, Leslie Fish and his wife, Martha, of Fayetteville, W.Va., Dale Fish and his wife, Sharleen, of Fuquay-Varina, N.C,, Phillip Fish and his wife, Carole, of Rockton, Pa., and George Fish and his wife, Jo Ann, of Frederick, Md.; two sisters, Virginia Good and her husband, Tom, of Olean, N.Y., and Thelda Hamblin of Arcade, N.Y.; three brothers, twins, Frank and Merton Greene, Jr. of Olean, N.Y. and Floyd Greene of Franklinville, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great- great-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2007, at the Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger Street, Elm Grove, Wheeling, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2007, with the Reverend Darrin Wright officiating. Interment in Greenview Cemetery, Moundsville, W.Va.
