George J. Kinniburgh

KINNIBURGH, George T., 85, of Wheeling, W.Va., died Monday, October 13, 2008, in the Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling.

He was born August 21, 1923, in Wheeling, a son of the late James Kinniburgh and Rachel West Kinniburgh Burris.

George was a retired supervisor for the Wheeling- Pittsburgh Steel Corporation, Mingo Plant.

He was a Presbyterian by faith; a member of the Masonic Lodge and Osiris Shrine both of Wheeling and a US Army veteran of World War II, serving in the European Theater.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Kathryn Brookover Kinniburgh in 1980.

Surviving are his wife, Lee Davis Kinniburgh; four brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law and several beloved nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
