GORBY, Brent S., 50, of Route 1, Middlebourne, departed this life Tuesday December 23, 2008, in Wetzel County Hospital, New Martinsville.
He was born September 28, 1958, a son of and M. Kaye Freeland Gorby of Middlebourne and the late Edwin W. Gorby
Brent was a 1976 graduate of Tyler County High School, Middlebourne. He was also a graduate of West Virginia University with a B.S. Degree in in Geology and a Masters Degree in Agricultural Economics. He was an employee of Momentive Performance Materials, Sistersville. He attended the Little Methodist Church, Little, W.Va. Brent loved his time at home with his family.
In addition to his mother, Brent is survived by his wife, Harriet Harwood Gorby; two sons, Scott L. Gorby and Ross H. Gorby, both at home; and a brother, Eric L. Gorby and his wife, Karen, of Paden City.
Friends will be received at the Furbee Funeral Home, Middlebourne Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where services will be held Saturday 1 p.m. with the Reverend Donald Thomas and Pastor Phyllis Mehaffie officiating.
Interment in Beechwood Cemetery, Alma.
