NEW MARTINSVILLE — Now hiring. Those are two words many Wetzel County residents welcome.
County residents and others are being offered an opportunity to work from home, but earn up to $9 per hour while doing so. Mayor Jim Herrick announced Monday that InfoCision Management Corp. — a privately held teleservice company that provides incoming and outgoing marketing services — plans to hire 100 new telecommuters for its business.
“We’re very excited about this opportunity because we know it will be good for our company, but will also be great for the community in the New Martinsville area,” said Matthew Feltrup, spokesman for Infocision.
“Some of the positions will be full-time while some will be part-time. We will offer wages between $8 and $9 per hour plus bonuses, and will offer health and dental benefits.
Feltrup said no formal training is required of applicants, but noted that a high school diploma or GED is necessary to obtain employment.
“We are looking for motivated people who can be fast learners,” he said.
Feltrup said anyone who has a home computer will have an excellent chance to succeed at InfoCision.
“We will travel to the homes of our employees and will set up their computers to make and receive calls from our customers,” he said, noting a valid e-mail address and landline home phone are also required.
Feltrup said the company will also work to provide assistance to employees with physical limitations.
“We think we are a good employment option for anyone, but especially for those who have a hard time getting around because all the work is done from home,” he said.
Feltrup also encouraged potential applicants to study the history and offerings of his company for themselves.
“We have been in business since 1982, and we want people to check out our Web-site at www.infocision.com to learn even more about what we can do for them,” he said.
While acknowledging the focus on the New Martinsville area, Feltrup said the jobs will be available to anyone who can get to the interviews. InfoCision Management Corp will be conducting on-site job interviews Sept. 6-7 at New Martinsville City Hall, 191 Main St. Call (800) 210-6269 to schedule an interview.
“If you are willing to work hard to earn a decent living, you should give us a call,” Feltrup said.
