WHEELING - A day after a disppointing finish in the West Virginia Open on Friday, Bryan Myers was back on the golf course Saturday, competing in the 10th annual Bob Finnegan Memorial at Wheeling Park's nine-hole golf course.

This one's going much better for him.

Myers, who tied for 46th in the Open, is tied for first in the Finnegan, along with playing partner Rico Simonetti and Dave Frey at 5-under-Par 63.

Bob Potts, who similarly competed in the Open, finishing tied for 25th, is one back in the Finnegan. Eric Fisher rounded out the top 5 in championship medal, three back of the leaders.

Wheeling Park's Marshall Hone is the leader among the juniors at 64, followed by Eli Lambie (65) and Shayne Wilson (68), another Open competitor.

Mike Wilson, with a first-day 65, leads the seniors, followed by Roger Kupfer (66) and the trio of Mike Ricci, Paul Kurtz, and Gary Mercer (all with 69s).

Among Super Seniors Ron Helms, (66) has a 1-shot lead on the trio of Chuck Bushovisky, John Bailey, and John Wilson.

Myers and Simonetti are 11-under (57) to lead the Championship Best Ball by four strokes on three groups - Ron Heatherly and Kupfer, Bob Potts and Mike Wilson, and Frey and Eric Coe.

In the Senior Best Ball, Kurtz and Ricci have a one-stroke lead on Mike Greene and Bailey.
