- The Hocking Hills region is located about halfway between Columbus and Athens, about a 2 1/2-hour drive from Wheeling.

From Wheeling to the Hocking Hills Welcome Center in Logan, county seat of Hocking County, take Interstate 70 West to Zanesville. Exit at Route 13 South. Make a short jog west onto Ohio 256, then take Ohio 664 South to U.S. 33. The center is located just south of the intersection of 664 and 33.
