Tessa Morgan and Christopher Sweeney were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 24, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Steubenville, with Msgr. Gerald Calovini officiating the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Charlie and Kim Morgan of Wintersville.
The groom is the son of Paul and Tammy Sweeney of Steubenville.
Betsy Morgan was maid of honor. Paul Sweeney II, brother of the groom, served as best man.
Other attendants were Elisabeth Herron; Jamie Gullen; Jonathan Sweeney, brother of the groom; Adam Morgan, brother of the bride, and Will Morgan, brother of the bride.
A reception was held at the Serbian-American Cultural Center, Weirton.
The bride is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a master's degree in middle childhood education. She is employed by the South-Western City School District and is teaching language arts and social studies.
The groom is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. He is employed as a mechanical engineer for ArcelorMittal Columbus.
After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple resides in Columbus.
