West Virginia Northern Community College and Weirton Steel are going to train the steelworkers of the future because of the aging population in the mill?
So here's a question, what about the 3,000 people laid off in this valley?
I'm sure you might be able to find a few young, already trained and experienced steelworkers ready to step in without the need of training or apprenticeship. I know many of them personally.
You need motor inspectors and millwrights? Weirton Steel? Have your human resources manager give me a call. I'll find you a couple hundred.
