WHEELING -- With arms held high in triumph, Colin Gundling was the first to cross the finish line in today's Ogden Newspapers Half Marathon Classic Run.
Gundling, a resident of Pittsburgh but originally from Wheeling, is the first U.S. resident to win the event since Jon Sinclair won back-to-back races in 1982-83.
The annual event, now in its 35th year, expanded its race course this year by 0.7 miles in changing from a 20K race to a 13.1-mile, half marathon.
