Monica S. Harvey and Casey T. Lavin were united in marriage Saturday, April 9, at St. Philip's Episcopal Church, Charleston, S.C., with the Rev. Jack Owens officiating the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Patsy L. Turvey of Wheeling and the late Thomas C. Harvey, formerly of Wellsburg.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James V. Lavin of Warrenton, Va.
David W. Harvey escorted the bride. Mindy M. Harvey, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Parker J. Lavin, brother of the groom, served as best man.

A reception was held in the Grand Oaks Ballroom at the Sanctuary Hotel.
The bride is a graduate of Brooke High School and West Virginia University. She is employed by the College of Charleston as director of teaching, learning and technology in Charleston, S.C.
The groom is a graduate of E.C. Glass High School in Lynchburg, Va., and Geneva, Switzerland. He is general manager of a five-star resort, the Woodlands Inn, in Summerville, S.C.
The couple took a wedding trip to Italy.
