Laurel Lindsay Poe and Ariel Alberto Rosa were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, July 2, at Shadyside Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Samuel Gibbs officiating the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of John and Jann Poe of Shadyside.
The groom is the son of the late Alicia and Adan Rosa Jr., formerly of Rio Grande City, Texas.
Ragan Rosa served as best man.
Other attendants were Jane Anne Tennyson Horton, Erika Dalrymple Jarrett, Alicia C.B. Widrig, Carrie Bidigare Heisele and Alexandria Rosa.
A reception was held at Wheeling Country Club.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Shadyside High School, a 2003 graduate of Washington and Jefferson College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and political science and a 2006 cum laude graduate of Thomas M. Cooley law school. She is employed as an attorney for the federal government.
The groom is a graduate of Rio Grande City High School. He is a full-time student and is finishing a degree in criminal justice.
After a wedding trip, the couple will reside in Baltimore, Md.
