Wendy McDaniel of Weirton announces the engagement of her daughter, Leah Jean Scherich, to Trenton Alan Ging, son of Richard and Holly Ging of Shadyside.
Scherich is a 2005 graduate of Brooke High School and a 2009 graduate of West Liberty University with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
Ging is a 2001 graduate of Shadyside High School and a 2006 graduate of West Liberty State College with a bachelor's degree.
A July 16 wedding is planned.
