Carrie Lee Tennyson and Michael Chad West were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at The Barn in Moundsville with Judge David Hummel officiating.
Parents of the bride are J. Alfred Tennyson of Bridgeport and the late Carolyn Laipple Tennyson.
Parents of the groom are Curtis W. and Diane South West of Moundsville.
Tinia M. Smith Sells escorted the bride and served as matron of honor. Abbey Tabacchi was maid of honor. Jason Sells served as best man.
Other attendants included Christy Tennyson Cooke, sister of the bride; Carrie Jurovcik; Matt Simonton; Pete Young; Devin Caprita and Madison Caprita.
A reception was held at The Barn.
The bride is a 1994 graduate of Bridgeport High School. She attended West Liberty University.
The groom is a 1991 graduate of John Marshall High School, He served in the Navy. He is employed at Ohio Valley Coal Mine, Powhatan No. 6, as a coal miner.
After a wedding trip to Canaan Valley, the couple will reside in Moundsville.
