Warren and Donna Hartley of Rivesville announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Hartley, to Michael Jura, son of John and Kathy Jura of Glen Dale.
Hartley is a 2005 graduate of Fairmont Senior High School and a 2009 graduate of Fairmont State University with a bachelor's degree in secondary education. She is employed by the Marion County Board of Education as a substitute teacher and coach.
Jura is a 2002 graduate of John Marshall High School and a 2007 graduate of Fairmont State University with degrees in information systems and electrical engineering. He is employed by Fairmont State University as a computer support specialist.
An Oct. 1 wedding is planned.
