WELLSBURG - Wheeling Park swept both the boys' and girls' meets during the running the of the Wendy's Classic at Brooke Memorial Stadium.
The Patriots' Elena Romanek was the top finisher on the girls' side, coming in at a time of 20:59.54.
Teammates Lauren Tarovisky (third), Madi Morris (seventh), Audrey Biega (eighth) and Sam Dodd (ninth) were top-10 finishers as Wheeling Park ran away with the competition.
John Marshall finished in second, led by Karissa Duke's fifth-place finish.
Kristen Mastrantoni for Weir came in second (21:18.14), while teammate Alexis Virtue was fourth.
Oak Glen's Kelsey Chambers (sixth) and Magnolia's Christa Harshberger (10th) round out the top 10.
Wheeling Park placed four boys in the top 10, owning spots 5-8 in the form of Albert Schrimp, Brandon Robinson, Will Wagner, and Maurice Miller.
The Patriots edged second place Magnolia, which had the No. 2-4 finishers in Bill Feeney, Alec Hinerman, and James Haught.
East Liverpool's Nate Boyer won the meet in a time of 17:16.09.
Rounding out the top 10 was Oak Glen's Eric Oliver (ninth) and John Marshall's Ryan Gellner (10th).
