McMechen says thank you to those who care for Riverview Park

September 14, 2011
The Intelligencer / Wheeling News-Register

The mayor along with members of the McMechen City Council would like to thank the many citizens who take great care of the Riverview Park.

These people, many of whom are retired, and those who have a full time job and are raising a family, keep the park looking beautiful and functional.

They not only donate their time and skills but also supply a lot of the materials out of their own pocket.

These people keep the grass cut, paint the shelter, repair or replace what ever is broken or worn out. They have installed new electrical outlets, repaired water leaks, and performed many other valuable services for which we are truly grateful.

We would like to thank each person individually but someone might be overlooked and we want them all to know how much they are appreciated It is because of people like them that make living in McMechen a great place to live! Thanks so much for all that you do.

Mayor Gracik, Council Members: Jill Hawkins, Nancy Boreman, Alice Hill, Charlie Pyle,

Eric Thornton and Pat Wilson
