CAMPBELL, P. Josephine "Jo" , 89, of Follansbee, W.Va., formerly of Wheeling, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2011.

She was born January 19, 1922, in New Martinsville, W.Va., a daughter of Christina and Carry Garrett.

Mrs. Campbell was a sales clerk at the former Stone and Thomas Department Store, and had worked for Family Services for several years. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Wheeling.

She loved to bowl and bowled at the Rose Bowl and Elm Grove Lanes for 36 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Campbell; an infant daughter; a brother, Sherman Frankhouser; and a son, William C. Campbell and his wife, Lisa.

Surviving are two children, Richard Campbell and his wife, Janet of Wheeling, and Rhonda Gallias and her husband, Nick of Weirton, W.Va.; three grandsons, Richard and Scott Campbell, and Robert Heacock; a great-grandson, Regan Campbell; a sister, Doris Cecil and her husband, Friend; a brother, Roger Manion and his wife, Sharon all of New Martinsville; and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, October 23, 2011, at the Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger Street, Elm Grove, Wheeling, where services will be held at ll a.m. on Monday, October 24, 2011, with the Reverend Kenneth Hardway officiating. Interment in North View Cemetery, New Martinsville, W.Va.
