WILLIAMSTOWN - Emily Bucon led all scorers with 18 points in the championship game for Wheeling Central, but it wasn't quite enough as Scott won the tournament title with a tight victory.
Mackenzie White, who will play for West Virginia University next season, drained two foul shots with 3.8 seconds left to provide for the winning margin of victory. The Maroon Knights managed to get a shot from around the foul line, but it didn't drop.
White led the victors with 17 points while Skyhawks teammate Alison Whitman added 15 markers.
Cassie Sorge was the only other Wheeling Central player to crack double figures, finishing with 11.
