In the consolation game, the Redskins battled with the Patriots in the first and fourth quarters, with both teams scoring 24 points, however, it was the middle two that did the Jefferson County squad in. South outscored Creek by a 40-11 margin in the second and third quarter, thanks in large part to a 26-4 second period explosion that was helped along by 14 Redskins turnovers.
The Patriots began the second on a 20-2 burst and never looked back with sophomore Kasey Williams scoring eight in the chapter and freshman Keya Bartlett adding six.
Bartlett tallied 12 for the winners while Williams, Jenna McAtee and Miranda Workman had 10 each for the winners. Kiarra Kamerec had 10 points and 11 rebounds for Creek.
Bartlett and Kamerec were both named to the all-tournament team.
