KRIPP, Lois Audrey, 86, of Wheeling, WV, died Monday, February 6, 2012 in Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling.
She was born December 20, 1925 in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of the late Valentine S. And Alvira L. Prinkey Kripp.
Miss Kripp was a retired bookkeeper from the Ohio Valley Battery and Ignition Company, Wheeling; she was a Methodist by faith and she graduated from the former Warwood High School. She was a past member of the AARP, was a past member of the Island Senior Citizen and a past member of the Bethlehem Hilltoppers Club.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Kripp and Velma Jones.
Surviving are two sisters, Phyllis O. Kripp and Jean M. Kripp both of Wheeling; two nephews, Thomas W. Dunn and his wife, Terri of Monticello, Fla., and Michael L. Dunn and his wife, Barbara of Wheeling; a niece Linda J. Wade and her husband, William of Wheeling; several grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St., Wheeling (304-242-2311) where services will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 10 a.m. with the Reverend Jody Carroll officiating. Interment in Normalville Cemetery, Normalville, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 122 South High Street, Morgantown, WV 26501.
