MOUNDSVILLE - Tim Dixon hit a jumper from just inside the 3-point line as time expired to give University a two-point victory against John Marshall after the Monarchs had rallied to tie with 34 seconds left.
Dixon finished with 13 points, six behind teammate Deion Cunningham, who led everyone with 19.
Aaron Fonner paced John Marshall with 16 points. Justin Wade added 15. The Monarchs hit eight 3-pointers in the game.
