CALDWELL - River edged Monroe Central before falling to Caldwell on Saturday at the PVC Super Tri Duals at Caldwell High School.
The Pilots defeated the Seminoles, 39-36, while the Redskins topped the Pilots, 55-15.
River won four out of the final five matches against Monroe Central. Securing those victories were Brandon Reusser (170), Dakota Dunn (182), J.D. Dotson (195) and Hank Goble (220).
Six of the victories for the Redskins - Class 2A/1A OVAC champions - came by pin. Picking up those victories were Zac Cline (145), Jared Leasure (160), Kale Raynor (170), Cole Haas (182), Chance Stoffel (195) and Timothy Schenkel (285).
