WRIGHT, Gloria Mae Holmes, 80, formerly of Moundsville, WV, died Friday, March 23, 2012 in Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Wheeling.
She was born October 22, 1931 in Montgomery, WV, a daughter of the late John C. and Bertha Jennings Holmes.
Mrs. Wright was the former owner and operator of a hair salon in McMechen, WV, and a Protestant by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Billy R. Wright; a son, Terry Wright; a brother, William Holmes; three sisters, Ruth Gravely, Hazel Webb and Minnie Smith.
Surviving are three sons, Robert E. (Patricia) Wright of Wheeling, Billy R. (Becky) Wright, II of Wheeling and Dale L. (Sandy) Wright of Newark, OH; five granddaughters; one grandson; nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Park View Memorial Gardens, Wheeling, with Pastor Jim Forbes officiating.
