KOHLER, Anna G. Diehl, 89, of McMechen, W.Va., died Sunday, March 25, 2012 in Peterson Rehabilitation Center, Wheeling.
She was born March 8, 1923 in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Elmer and Anna Heffron Diehl.
She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Mt. Olivet.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Wendel Kohler; three brothers, Charles, Thomas and John Diehl; two sisters, Mary Swanek and Catherine Diehl; five brother-in-laws, Joe Swanek, Roy Hunt, John Miller, Robert Kohler and Bill Kohler; and four sister-in-laws, Wanda Diehl, Patricia Diehl, Betty Nolte and Nancy Thorngate.
Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Charles "Bud" Kohler; son, Terry (Lori) Kohler of McMechen; two daughters, Maryann (James) Kozusnik of Mozart and Andrea Kohler of McMechen; three sisters, Agnes Miller of Elm Grove, Jacqueline Hunt of Wheeling and Dolores (Dan) Grzebien of Parkville, Md.; brother-in-law, Charles Nolte of McMechen; two sister-in-laws, Joann (Harry) Prager of McMechen and Polly Kohler of McMechen; eight grandchildren, Aimee (Luke) White, David (Lisa) Kozusnik and Mark Kozusnik (Becca Doty), Anna, Erin, Lauren, Chelsea and Marissa Kohler; and one great-grandchild, Noah White.
Family and friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 27 at the Altmeyer Funeral Home Benwood-McMechen Chapel, 214 Marshall Street, McMechen, where Vigil services will be held at 3 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Our Lady Of Peace Catholic Church, Mt. Olivet, with Rev. Dennis Schuelkens Jr. as celebrant.
Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.
