WEIRTON - Strong pitching helped the Weir High Red Riders sweep Martins Ferry.
In the first game, Weir's Mitch Viakely struck out eight and issued one walk in seven innings.
Ryan Mendenhall then had four strikeouts in the second game and Will Larch drove in three with two singles and a double.
