RUSSELL, Ky. - Tori Tharp struck out 12 in a combined 13 innings as Magnolia and Russell split.
Dallas Mullett, Tharp, and Emily Blake all enjoyed multi-hit games in the opener.
Blake added a single and a double in the nightcap. Abby Durig also singled twice in Game 2 for the Blue Eagles (9-2).
