WELLSBURG - Tori Tharp and Mallory Chapman combined to give up five hits (one by Chapman) in a doubleheader sweep of Brooke (5-9).
Tharp struck out 14 and didn't walk anyone in the opener. Chapman whiffed 13 and walked two in the nightcap. Each player backed the other with a multi-hit game.
Brooke's lone hit in Game 2 was a triple by Cassi Camilletti.
Dallas Mullett had three singles for the Blue Eagles.
