WHEELING -Joni Zavolta hit a one-out single that brought in Laken Visnick with the winning run as Wheeling Central rallied to beat Martins Ferry.
The Knights (9-7) trailed by three in the bottom of the seventh when winning pitcher Brittany Miller drilled a game-tying home run to left center. Miller had earlier helped herself with a two-run single.
Sarah Henry also hit a home run for Wheeling Central.
Beth Hotlosz ripped a pair of triples for the Purple Riders. Cassie Hanson also tripled while Kylie Stalder doubled.
