CHARLESTON - Wheeling Central's Brian Felton exploded for five goals to spark Wheeling Central to a 9-7 victory against Capital in prep lacrosse action.
The Maroon Knights jumped out to a 4-1 lead before the Cougars battled back to forge a 4-4 tie early in the third period. The Knights responded with four unanswered goals, three by Felton.
Ben Duplaga supported Felton with a pair of goals while Mason Huffman and Connor Peklinsky each notched a goal for Central. Netminder Mike Parisi posted the victory.
