BIEGA, Barbara A., 83, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2012, at Acuity Specialty Hospital, Bellaire, OH.
She was born June 12, 1928, in Wheeling, a daughter of the late William and Stella Kurner Roth.
She was a retired employee of AT&T Telephone Company and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four brothers, William A., Thomas, Jerome and Harold Roth; a sister, Mary Lou Bonar.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 59 years, Aloysius J. Biega; one son, James A. Biega of Ventura, CA; a sister, Joan Miller of Bethany, WV; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends received on Monday, April 30, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wheeling, at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 with the Rev. Gary Naegele, as celebrant.
Interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
