COUGHLAN, Jean Clark, 86, of Wheeling, WV, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Liza's Place, Wheeling.
She was born May 25, 1925 in Wheeling, WV., the daughter of the late Robert and Anna Robinson Clark.
Mrs. Coughlan was a retired deputy assessor for the Ohio County Assessor office, Wheeling and a member of Vance Memorial Presbyterian Church, Wheeling. She was a graduate of Triadelphia High School and the College Of Commerce.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Andrew "Cougie" Coughlan in 2000; a son, Scott Coughlan; a daughter, Carole Coughlan; a brother, Robert; and a sister, Elizabeth Jungling.
Surviving are a daughter, Nancy Chatlak and her husband, John of Wheeling; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at the Kepner Funeral Home, 900 National Road, Wheeling (304-232-2732) with the Revered Dr. Charles D. LaPlaca officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.
