TOBER, Gary L., 67, of Windsor Heights, passed away, May 3, 2012, at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, WV. He was a donor of life through CORE, Center for Organ Recovery and Education.
Gary was born on September 2, 1944 in Pennsylvania. He was the son of Dorothy (Fennel) Tober and the late Frank Tober.
Gary was a Coal Miner with Winsor Coal Company and then went on to own numerous self-employment opportunities. He was the owner of Gary's Hill Top, Windsor Heights and Pokey's Bar, West Liberty. He was also the owner of Gary's Plumbing and Heating. He was a member of the Windsor Heights Church of God.
In addition to his father, Gary was preceded in death by his daughter, Marcy Tober in 2009, sister, Carol Rogers.
Gary is survived by his loving wife, Karen Kay Tober of Windsor Heights, three caring children, Kim (Chuck ) Conley of Short Creek, Jeni (Tom) Cole of Windsor Heights, and Mark Tober also of Windsor Heights, 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two sisters, Kathy Hundagen of Windsor Heights and Karen (Ronnie) Rupert of West Liberty, two brothers, Pat (Patty) Tober and Jeff (Vicky) Tober, all of Windsor Heights, and several nieces and nephews.
Family and Friends will be received on Sunday, May 6, 2012 from 2:004:00 and 6:00 8:00 PM and again on Monday, May 7, 2012 from 11:00 until time of Funeral Service at Noon at the Chambers Funeral Home, 1030 Main Street, Wellsburg, with Reverend Lori Williams officiating.
Interment will follow at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery, Beech Bottom, WV.
