Robert and Connie Krzysiak of Wheeling announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Krzysiak, to Michael Lynn Kessler, son of Lynn and Donna Kessler of Fort Wayne, Ind.
Krzysiak is a 1997 graduate of Wheeling Central Catholic High School, a graduate of the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry and a graduate of Purdue University with a doctorate in medicinal chemistry and molecular pharmacology. She is a research fellow in neurology at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston.
Kessler is a graduate of Homestead High School, Fort Wayne, and a graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering. He is employed as a mechanical engineer at Astra Tech in Waltham, Mass.
A June 9 wedding is planned in Wheeling.
