FLOUHOUSE, Conrad Alexander, "Connie," 86, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2012, in Wheeling Hospital.
Married 60 years to his beloved wife, Phyllis Jean Phillips Flouhouse. His only child is Colby Ann Flouhouse Homer, who is married to Patrick W. Homer.
He was the eldest brother of Alice F. Kelder of Ormond Beach, FL, Clinton V. (Vivian) Flouhouse of Charlotte, NC, Harold J. (Marjorie) Flouhouse of Conway, (Myrtle Beach), SC, Harry G. Flouhouse, of Ormond Beach, FL, and John O. (Lois) Flouhouse of Wintersville, OH. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Myron David Flouhouse.
Connie was one of the oldest Real Estate Brokers in West Virginia, owning General Realty Company since 1959. He was past president of Wheeling Board of Realtors, and a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Scottish Rite, Lodge #5, and was also an Osiris Shriner. He was a Charter member of the Lions Club, Wheeling Chamber of Commerce and a 50-year member of the Christ United Methodist Church.
Friends will be received on Monday, May 7, 2012, from 1-3 and 5:30-8 p.m. at the Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger Street, (304-242-2311) Wheeling, where services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Timothy Allen officiating.
Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
