BENLINE, Elizabeth Ann "Dubie," 83, of Sunset Heights, Bridgeport, died Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born September 28, 1928 in Wheeling, a daughter of the late George and Katherine Menkemeller Shepherd.
She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church Bridgeport, a secretary for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel for 15 years, a former employee of Wilson Funeral Home Bridgeport, she was a volunteer at Wheeling Hospital and Oglebay Park, and she was an active auxiliary member for the Sunset Heights Vol. Fire Dept.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband James P. Benline, two brothers George and Frank Shepherd, a sister Sally Coyne.
Dubie is survived by two sons James Benline and his wife Joyce of Emerson, Ohio, and John Benline of Dallas, TX. and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Bridgeport, with Fr. John Mucha officiating, interment in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove. Wake service will be recited on Wednesday at 4 pm at the funeral home.
