WOODS, Austin "Butch," Jr., 69, of Moundsville, W.Va., passed away Monday, May 7, 2012, in Wheeling Hospital.
Butch was born February 8, 1943, in Moundsville, W.Va., son of the late Bud and Fannie Blake Woods.
He retired from the former Fostoria Glass of Moundsville and Louie Glass of Weston, W.Va.
Preceded in death by his parents; one sister Doris; and brother David.
Survived by his wife Sandra Lee Tennant Woods; two daughters, Sherry Hummell of Moundsville, W.Va., and Becky (Frank) Whitelatch of Proctor, W.Va.; two sons, Butch Woods, companion (Vicki) of Proctor, W.Va., and William (Missy) Woods of Moundsville, W.Va.; three stepdaughters, Jane (Mike) Grosso of Moundsville, W.Va., Patty Humphry, companion Russ, and Eveline Maidens; two stepsons, Butch (Jodi) Maidens, all of Huntingdon, Pa., Tom Maidens, companion Bill of Pittsburgh, Pa.; eight sisters, Penny Koski companion Alan, Patty (Kevin) Ingold, Janice (Tom) Opic, Hattie (John) Barrett, Brenda Solomon, Connie Wagner, Bonnie Lucas, Sally Elliot companion Lee, all of Moundsville, W.Va., Buddy (Nancy) Woods of Ohio, and Bob (Mary) Woods of Moundsville; aunt Hattie Ruthers of Buckhannon, W.Va.; 15 grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, May 8, 2012, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1109 Second St., Moundsville, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012, with the Rev. Paul K. Smith officiating. Burial in Riverview Cemetery.
