HARRIS, Raymond, 79, of Upatoi, Georgia, formerly of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died Sunday, April 29, 2012 in Columbus Regional Medical Center, Columbus, Georgia.
He was born January 31, 1933 in Wheeling, West Virginia, son of the late Earnest Harris and Sarah Victoria Riley Harris.
Raymond was a retired employee from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel. He was a U.S. Army Veteran honorably serving during the Korean War from August 1952 to August 1955. He was a loving father and grandfather.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Carwin; and a sister, Virginia.
Surviving are his children, Shadeed Ahmad (a.k.a. Charles Darryl Harris) and Hadija Ahmad of New York, New York, Tyrone and Teresa (Harris) Walker of Upatoi, Georgia and Mark and Diane Harris of Arlington, Texas; and four grandchildren.
Private services were at the convenience of the family.
