HYNES, John E. "Jack," 87, of Wellsburg, WV, passed away May 10, 2012 at Weirton Medical Center, Weirton, WV.
He was born June 26, 1924 in Rayland, OH to the late Edward and Daisy "Dorrie" Glover Hynes. He was a retired self employed tool and die maker who was, a member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Wellsburg, WV and served as a Marine in World War II, he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, Wellsburg VFW.
In addition to his parents he was preceded by his first wife Jane Galloway Haynes, his daughter Eileen Georges.
He is survived his wife Martha Wells Diserio Hynes, his son Timothy Hynes of Monte Clair, NJ, a step son Michael T. Diserio of Wellsburg, WV, three daughters Kathleen Hurta and her husband Glenn of Green Township, NJ, Linda Bator and her husband Steve of Nutley, NJ, Marianne DelTufo of Milford, PA, a sister Glenna "Lucille" Neilsen, five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 14, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-8p.m. at Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles St. Wellsburg, WV. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Wellsburg, WV with Father Vincent Joseph as Celebrant. Full military grave side Rites by the Ohio Valley Veteran Memorial Squad.
