KOLAKOWSKI, Catherine J., 99 of Wheeling, WV died on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at home.
She was born November 14, 1912 in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Peter and Anna Marie (Wolfe) Eisenhauer.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Wheeling.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Anthony S. Kolakowski; a daughter, Dolores Howard; three brothers, George, Robert and Edwin Eisenhauer and four sisters, Eleanora, Emma, Peggy and Agnes.
Surviving are her two sons, Anthony S. and his wife Jenny Lou Kolakowski of New Paris, IN; Joseph L. and his wife Dolores of Wheeling, WV; a daughter, Anna Marie and her husband Dennis Lawther of Wheeling, WV; 16 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling where a vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial can be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church with Rev. Frank O'Kruta and Rev. Dennis Schuelkens as co-celebrants.
Interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling. Memorial contributions may be made to Amedisys Hospice.
