BROEMSEN, Fay Nell Pettitt, 89, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on May 26, 2012, in the Wheeling Hospital.
She was born February 1, 1923, in St. Marys, WV, a daughter of the late Clarence N. and Delphia Robinson Pettitt. She was a retired employee of the former Wheeling College, a member of St.Marks Lutheran Church and a former member of the Wheeling AARP and the Wheeling Womans Club.
Fay is survived by her sister, Ann Lee Pettitt of St. Marys, WV, nephews, John Kyle (Vickie) of Belmont, WV, Robert (Joanne) Kyle of La Belle, FL, nephew-in-law, Carl Clark of St. Marys, WV, a niece-in-law, Sue Bradfield of Delroy, OH and several great and great great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul William Broemsen in 1971, one brother, Clarence D. Pettitt, three sisters, Ruth Bradfield, Marjorie Kyle and Marguerite Hammett, niece, Martha Clark, and two nephews, James Bradfield and Gary Bradfield.
Services will be held Friday, June 1, 2012, at 11 A. M. at the Ingram Funeral Home, 512 Second Street, St. Marys, WV, with Pastor John Strimer officiating. Interment will be in the St. Marys IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
