RICHMOND, Ralph Marvin, 94, of Cameron, WV, passed away Wednesday May 30 in WV Veterans Nursing Facility, Fairmont, WV.
He was born January 12, 1918 in Fairmont, WV, son of the late Clem and Lucy Smith Richmond. Ralph was a member of the Church of Christ, Cameron, WV, a US Army veteran of WWII and Korean Conflict, and retired from Wheeling Electric of Cameron.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Herschell, sister Mildred Colegrove, first wife Robertta Chambers Richmond, second wife Jenny Alley Richmond.
Surviving are daughter Tammy Scott of Charleston, WV, son Eugene Scherrick of Florida, sister Alice Wolfe of Marion, NC, brother Lloyd (Phyllis) Richmond of Coal Grove, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be gathered at Halcyon Hills Memorial Chapel, Sherrard, WV on Monday June 4, 2012 from 10:30 until time of services at 11 a.m. Arrangements by Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Moundsville and Cameron. The Moundsville Veteran Honor Guard will conduct full military honors.
