BRAYEC, Elizabeth J., 85, of McMechen, W.Va., died Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Wheeling Hospital.
She was born August 9, 1926, in McMechen, a daughter to the late John and Frances (Oreb) Kordich. She was retired from the C&P Telephone Company, and a member of St. James Catholic Church in McMechen. She was also a member of the St. James Catholic Church Rosary Altar Society.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Brayec in 2006, and two sisters, Margaret Miller and Frances Nemeth.
She is survived by one daughter, Kimberly A. (Dan) Angalich of Glen Dale, W.Va.; one brother-in-law, Steve Nemeth of McMechen; two grandsons, Michael Angalich of Glen Dale, and Jordan Angalich of Glen Dale; and special niece, Karen Knight.
Friends will be received Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 2-8 p.m. at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Benwood-McMechen Chapel, 214 Marshall Street, McMechen. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, June 15, 2012 at 10 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, McMechen, with Rev. Edward Stafford as celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
