MINDA, Rose Ann, 91, of Avella, died at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2012, in Mary Ann Manor, Follansbee, WV.
She was born on January 12, 1921 in East Brady, daughter of the late, Pasquino and Frances Coachman Torboli.
Mrs. Minda was a former member of Brooke Hills United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed her birds and Polka dancing.
Mrs. Minda had lived in Avella since 1956.
On September 9, 1939 she married John Minda, Sr., who died on December 9, 2001.
Surviving Mrs. Minda are: three sons, John (Charlotte) Minda, Jr. of Bethany, WV, Ron (Allie) Minda of Avella, Michael (Debbie) Minda of Pace, FL; two daughters, Shirley (Joe) Taggart of West Liberty, WV and Darlene (Jim) Dulaney of Avella; 14 grandchildren; 22 great- grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren; a brother, Richard (Margaret)Torboli of Avella.
Preceding her in death in addition to her husband and parents are, four brothers, Arthur Torboli, Sr., James Torboli, Robert Torboli and Frank Tober; four sisters, Mary Ann Noble, Elizabeth Sabo, Frances and Delores Torboli.
Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, June 18, in the Jerome A. Stefkovich Funeral Home, Inc., located at 18 Campbell Street, Avella, PA 15312, where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 19, with Pastor Fran Skariot, officiating.
Burial will be in West Point Cemetery, Avella.
