BOOHER, Walton Suzanne E., 67, of New Martinsville, WV died Friday, June 22, 2012 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg, WV.
Suzanne was born July 24, 1944 in Sparta, WI daughter of the late Cecil L. and Vonnie Griffin Knapp.
She was a homemaker, work opportunities Radio WETZ and Sears, loved riding and working with horses, member of the Horse Riding Club at Magnolia High School, enjoyed leather working, sewing, quilting and canning and was a member of First United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a step grandson, James Ray Booher and a step great granddaughter.
Surviving are her companion of 42 years, Ray Booher of New Martinsville; son, Michael Scott (Betsy) Walton of Parkersburg, WV; two daughters, Christy (Dennis) Walton McDowell of New Martinsville, WV and Kimberly Rae Booher of Weirton, WV; brother, Daniel L (Mary Lou) Knapp of Richmond, CA; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed the extended family of stepchildren, Patty (John) Hawkins, Danny (Christina) Booher and Rick (Debbie) Booher, eight step grandchildren and nine step great-grandchildren.
Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Jarvis-Williams Funeral Homes, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV where service will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2012 with Pastor Melissa Shortridge officiating.
Interment in Greenlawn Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
