"We responded to a missing persons call earlier today - I believe a family friend ... that was assisting us in trying to locate the reported missing, found the body under the Shilling Bridge - and we believe that to be the person who was reported missing." said Schwertfeger.
Schwertfeger said he was unable to comment on the cause of Corkran's death - and he wouldn't have any other details until an autopsy is performed.
A local coroner was also called to the scene.
